Explore the Desert Botanical Garden like you never have before with an evening flashlight tour, offered now until August 30. Many have experienced the beauty of the Botanical Garden during the day, but when the sun falls and the stars shine bright, the night brings new life to the Garden trails, tapping into all of your senses. Available on Thursdays and Saturdays, the flashlight tours are a great outing for the entire family, and with an array of discovery stations to see, there's something for everyone to enjoy!
Summer flashlight tours at the Desert Botanical Garden are included with admission or membership. They begin running at 7 p.m. on each specified night and feature 13 different discovery stations for visitors to explore during each tour. Among these include the Saguaro, Snake, Tarantula and Scorpion, Palo Verde, Night Birds/Bats, Naked Eye Sky and Desert Tortoise discovery stations. A special Night Bloomers discovery station will also be offered during the month of June, showcasing desert plants that bloom in the evening. All flashlight tour attendees are encouraged to bring their own flashlight to the Garden, but if forgotten, flashlights will be available for purchase at the Garden Shop. Additional information on tour groups and rates is available online.
