
The entry-level crossover segment is about to get new competition this year when the all-new 2016 Honda HR-V makes its official debut on the market. Boasting exceptional driving dynamics, coupe-like styling, top-notch fuel economy and first-class versatility, the incoming crossover is set to shake up the auto industry. Showcasing a bold stance and sculpted body, the 2016 Honda HR-V is strong and powerful. It features a coupe-like cabin and comes with concealed rear door handles to accentuate the look. Inside, soft-touch materials and unique detailing give the interior an upscale appearance. Ample space is also available due to the second-row "Magic Seat," which can be configured to make room for various cargo. An impressive 58.8 cubic feet of cargo room is offered when the second-row seats are folded down, making transporting items as simple as can be. Aside from cargo advantages, the HR-V also comes with a top selection of standard features on all models. Bluetooth, a rearview camera, power windows/doors, cruise control and Pandora radio are just a few of the amenities buyers will appreciate.
As powerful as it is versatile, the all-new HR-V will come equipped with a 1.8L four-cylinder, producing 138 horsepower and 127 lb.-ft. of torque. The responsive engine can be mated to either a continuously variable transmission or a six-speed manual transmission, which each perform at optimal levels. Both all-wheel-drive and two-wheel-drive configurations will also be available, benefiting those that prefer to have multiple options. Additionally, the crossover will produce excellent fuel economy ratings, which are not yet available to the public.
