Fourth of July is almost here, which is why the City of Peoria is bringing out their biggest and brightest fireworks for this special occasion.
All the fun is happening at the Peoria Sports Complex on July 4, 2016, starting at 5 p.m. The evening will not only include fireworks, but also a food eating contest, a water zone, a cornhole tournament and a Kids' Zone. There will also be concession and live entertainment.
Families are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and non-alcoholic beverages. Event organizers expect the Sports Complex will be at capacity by 8 p.m., so we suggest getting to the arena as early as possible.
You can purchase tickets to the Peoria Fourth of July event on their website, or at the door. Parking is free, so just remember to head out a little early on the day of the event to get a spot.
We hope you’ll come down to the Peoria Sports Complex this July 4 to celebrate our nation’s birthday with your friends and neighbors.
