The Desert Botanical Garden will play host to an exciting new Phoenix event from Ballet Arizona: "Round - An Evening at Desert Botanical Garden." Taking place during May 17–June 4, 2016, this new series is sure to be a highlight on everyone’s summer event calendar.
“This will be an experience like no other for our audiences,” said Ballet Arizona Artistic Director Ib Andersen. “Round is a rare opportunity to see ballet performed in-the-round. It’s a great challenge to choreograph and presents a distinct perspective for each person based on where they sit. I think patrons will want to attend more than once to experience Round in different ways.”
"Round" is a celebration of humanity’s connection to the natural world, which will be even more enhanced by the beautiful landscapes surrounding the Desert Botanical Garden. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. and last around an hour.
Guests are encouraged to come early to enjoy a meal and a bottle of wine, both of which will be available for purchase. There will also be a full cash bar available as well.
