The springtime tradition of Cactus League baseball starts up again in the Valley on Friday, Feb. 24, 2017. Over the kick-off weekend, there are 16 games, featuring all 15 teams at each of the ten spring training stadiums across the Phoenix area. Throughout the season, there are no less than six games every afternoon and evening.

Baseball fans revel in the Cactus League, as it offers easy access to watch MLB teams from across the country that only make a few appearances in Arizona during the regular season.

Better yet, Spring Training tickets are more affordable than regular season tickets, with tickets starting at $8 at several of the stadiums for a range of seating options, including general lawn seating and bleachers. Spring Training is always a good time for all fans as they enjoy America’s pastime in Arizona’s sunny springtime weather.

Speaking of sunny weather, Arizona is warming up. When you head out to the stadium, be sure to bring the sun block and a bottle of water to stay safe and hydrated during the game.

You can find out more about the Cactus League and Spring Training baseball on the league’s website.
