The automotive experts over at the New York Daily News just awarded the 2017 Honda Fit with the "City Car Award."
This prestigious award is one of the most sought-after in the industry, and the Fit impressed the NYDN panel with not only its exceptional design and top-notch interior amenities, but also its economical price and exceptional cargo space.
“The most unique and meaningful thing about the Fit…is the configurable interior with phenomenal roominess,” said Daily News Auto writer Jim Resnick. “A low, flat interior floor means the Fit offers greater passenger space and cargo volume than even some crossover SUVs.”
This fantastic cargo and passenger room is due not only to the Fit's terrific floor designs, but also to its most memorable feature: the Magic Seat. The Magic Seat allows the Fit to open up its cargo space to 52.7 cubic feet, meaning that drivers can haul an unexpectedly large amount of cargo.
The panel judges also liked the 2017 Fit’s standard multi-angle rearview camera, 5-inch display screen and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as the hatchback’s spunky 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that outputs a very peppy 130 horses.
