Open on Saturdays and Sundays from Feb. 8 - Mar. 30, this renaissance event is one of the largest in the country and is located just seven miles east of Apache Junction on US Highway 60 in Gold Canyon, AZ.
An outdoors celebration like no other, the Arizona Renaissance Festival is much like an amusement park and features 13 live entertainment stages, a royal feast, a 30-acre circus show, an arts & crafts fair and a show-stopping jousting tournament that will have you on the edge of your seat! All ages are welcome to join in on the merriments and costumes are encouraged (but not required). To purchase tickets for an upcoming weekend, you can stop by your local Fry's Food Store or visit the Festival Box Office the day of the event. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 5-12; children under 5 are free. Prices are $2 more when purchased at the box office, but you can save a dollar when buying tickets online.
