As a car guy, Jay Leno can't help but notice when a rare, classic vehicle crosses his path. He has a love for automobiles that he's never been able to shake, so when he recently spotted a 1964 Honda S600 Hot Rod in California, he jumped at the chance to feature the special vehicle on an episode of his web series, "Jay Leno's Garage."
From the outside, the Hot Rod looks like a typical S600 model, but in reality, it's so much more. While the roadster does have a standard S600 body, the rest of the car is completely modified. Its 600cc engine has been upgraded to a 160-horsepower 2007 Honda CBR 1000R engine, which has been paired with a stock motorcycle transmission. The Hot Rod also features wide tires, comes with right-wheel-drive steering and has a motorcycle gauge package. Additional motorcycle parts are also utilized in the construction of the vehicle. In the recent episode of "Jay Leno's Garage," Leno gets behind the wheel of the Honda S600 Hot Rod and takes it for a long drive through the streets of California.
