The Honda Clarity fuel cell sedan debuted at the New York International Auto Show in February, showcasing yet another addition to the automaker’s green car lineup.

The new sedan is the first spec version that has premiered in the U.S. and Honda is displaying it for audiences to highlight its various fun features, as well as its exciting new powertrain that drivers are sure to love.

"We're pleased to be able to offer this first look at the U.S. version of the Clarity Fuel Cell sedan in advance of its market arrival later this year," said John Mendel, executive vice president, Automobile Division, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Clarity Fuel Cell is the first in an expanding portfolio of advanced electrified vehicles from Honda that will create a new pillar in our product lineup."

The new car is a hydrogen-powered fuel cell sedan that seats five. Technology updates on the Clarity include a new fuel cell stack that generates 33 percent more compact than before, despite being smaller and more condensed. Current estimates suggest that the Clarity’s driving range should exceed 300 miles, with a probable fueling time of only three to five minutes.

We are very happy to see such an innovative car being added to Honda’s increasingly impressive lineup. To learn more about the Clarity, or any one of our efficient and powerful Honda sedans near Phoenix, visit Bell Honda today!
