As more and more people warm to the practicality, convenience and excitement of pickup trucks in Phoenix, the demand for versatile and fun vehicles like the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is on the rise in Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, and Peoria.

We previewed the exciting 2017 Ridgeline truck back in January, and we've been keeping a close eye on it ever since--much to the delight of the whole team.

We've learned that it offers a more spacious cabin, more under-seat storage, more interior cargo volume, and a larger truck bed than any other midsize in its class. It's also smoother and quieter to drive, thanks to lightweight materials and a unibody frame construction.

While the Ridgeline's unibody construction does demand a slight fall in terms of pulling power compared to conventional body-on-frame trucks, its clever engineering and standard 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine give it a maximum payload of 1,584 pounds and a maximum tow rating of 5,000 pounds. And that's nothing to sneeze at! Since a tow package comes standard, this capable truck can haul right out of the box.

But that's not even the most fun part: the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is packed with new features from front to back, including:

  • An in-bed trunk that is lockable, water-tight, and drainable
  • Integrated in-bed stereo system for a seamless audio experience inside of the cabin and out
  • Honda-unique dual-hinge tailgate that opens down or out
  • Class-exclusive torque-vectoring all-wheel drive
  • A power outlet located in the bed can charge or power a variety of equipment
  • Standard touchscreen infotainment with available premium audio

While it may not be the most traditional, "in-the-box" vehicle in its class, it is the perfect light-duty truck for absolutely everyone who's been craving a practical pickup as their everyday driver. Keep an eye on inventory at Bell Honda; the new Ridgeline is expected to go on sale soon.
