All of this is why it’s no surprise that the auto just named the 2016 North America Car of the Year.

Honda racked up a series of accolades as a part of this year's 2016 Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Awards. The brand took home five of 11 non-luxury awards, including the top honor, "Overall Best Buy of the Year," for the all-new 2016 Honda Civic.

The 2016 Honda Accord Sedan and Coupe continue to excel in safety, which is why both vehicles recently earned Top Safety Pick+ ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Parents magazine and Edmunds.com recently joined forces to create a list of the "10 Best Family Cars" on the market, and out of all the vehicles evaluated, the 2015 Honda Fit, Accord and CR-V were lucky enough to make the compilation. Boasting excellent safety ratings, fuel-efficient engines and user-friendly features, all three models are ideal family cars fit for daily commuting.

Accord’s sales stats say it all. Consumers wouldn’t keep purchasing it by the thousands year after year if it wasn’t getting the family carrier equation right. When recently presenting the 2015 Accord with a 10Best Cars award, Car and Driver had many positive things to say about the top-selling four-door.
