What's New for the 2023 Honda Civic?
The Civic launched a new generation just last year. For that reason, very few changes have been made to the 2023 Civic. The LX trim level, which was previously the base model, has been eliminated this year.
What Are the 2023 Civic Trims & Features?
The Civic Sport is the base model, and it comes equipped with LED headlights, keyless entry, automatic climate control, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and more. The EX sedan and the EX-L hatchback trim levels add heated front seats and a rear center armrest with cupholders. Then there is the Touring sedan and Sport Touring hatchback, which have foglights, rear USB ports, wireless device charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and more.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Honda Civic Have?
A 2.0L four-cylinder engine is what comes standard for the 2023 Civic, and it makes 158 horsepower. This engine comes standard with a CVT, although hatchback models can swap that out for a six-speed manual transmission. Both the EX and EX-L upgrade to a turbo 1.5L, increasing the output of the Civic to 180 horsepower. This engine can only be paired with the CVT.
What Safety Features Does the 2023 Civic Include?
Many advanced safety features can be spotted on the standard feature list for the 2023 Civic. They include lane-keeping assistance, traffic sign recognition, forward collision mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. Automatic high beams are also standard for the new Civic. Among the available features for this vehicle are front parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
