Fans of the Honda CR-Z will be excited to hear that the sport compact hybrid is being refreshed for the 2016 model year. On its way to Bell Honda this November, the tiny hatchback will debut on the market with technology updates and styling revisions that boost its overall attraction in the hybrid segment.
The Honda CR-Z initially made its debut in the U.S. for the 2010 model year. The first-generation model has been on the market for five solid years and in an effort to keep it on par with other models in its class Honda decided to give the hybrid a refresh this year. Starting with the exterior styling, the 2016 Honda CR-Z receives larger 15-inch brake discs and an updated front end. The lower air dam now cuts through the grille and branches out toward the fog lights, creating a modern look. Inside the vehicle, you can now find a center armrest, electric parking brake and a newly upgraded infotainment system. When it comes to powertrains, the CR-Z does not receive any changes and continues to offer a 1.5L four-cylinder IMA hybrid system that produces 130 horsepower and 140 lb.-ft. of torque on all models.
While the 2016 Honda CR-Z is not yet available at Bell Honda, we do have a selection of 2015 Honda CR-Z models that you can come test drive today.
