Honda dates back to the late 1940s. It gets its name from co-founder Soichiro Honda, a man who grew up in poverty but never stopped dreaming and designing. In 1949, the world got its first glimpse of Honda engineering when the Dream D-type motorcycle was released. Recently, Honda Motor Company Ltd. announced it would discontinue the Insight hybrid sedan production in the United States at the end of this year. However, the company also confirmed that a new hybrid version of the Civic sedan in the U.S. market would start in 2020. A new hybrid version of the CR-V sport utility vehicle starting in 2023.

Honda will have exhibits at the 28th ITS World Congress this year. In California, Honda will show off the Green options it's trying to achieve, such as its Carbon Neutrality goals and its zero traffic collision fatalities goal.

 

The Honda Civic Tour is an annual concert series that's been going strong since 2001. The upcoming tour marks the 20th anniversary of this fun event. For the first time, the concerts will be virtual and can be viewed on the official Honda Stage YouTube channel. There's a sweepstakes drawing this year, and the winner will receive a brand new Honda Civic. Concert viewers will also be among the first to see the all-new 2022 Civic Sedan.
